Deprecations and breaking changes

This page is used to list deprecation notices for Slide's products. Deprecated commands and options will be removed after 1-3 months from the time they were deprecated. How long the feature is deprecated before the behavior is changed depends on the severity of the change, and how prominent the feature is.

Active deprecations

TLS 1.2 support will be removed

Active since 2025-12-02, will take effect on 2026-02-02

We will be deprecating support for TLS 1.2 and, starting on February 2, 2026, will only be using TLS 1.3. This change will affect all Slide services, including the Slide Console, the Slide Agent as well as communication with Slide Box.
